Our Cool Schoolgarden
Bio-day
The celebration of a bioday in each participating country is a key factor to understand the whole process we are involved in.
First, our students will interview local farmers about endogenous plants and agricultural products. They will also visit fields and farms to get acquainted with the plants and their inhabitants.
Secondly, Students will create a herb garden, to grow different herbs and onions, which will later be used for production of organic and traditional products, such as teas, herb salt, soaps and cremes. For irrigation, the rainwater will be collected in the rainwater tank.
And finally, as a means to concrete all this effort, we are organizing Biofood Days, open to the local community. Workshops and showcookings, revisited events, and lectures concerning biological food, agriculture and entrepreneurship are being held.
